Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, Visits Lithuania

Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, paid an official visit to the Republic of Lithuania from September 8 to 10 this year.

As part of the visit, the minister held a trilateral meeting with Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, and Minister of Economy and Innovation, Aušrinė Armonaitė. Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania, Ara Margarian, and Deputy Minister Narek Hovakimyan were also present at the meeting.

Minister Papoyan stated that Armenia is diversifying its economy, which presents significant opportunities to further develop economic cooperation through joint efforts. The ministers noted the great potential for expanding Armenian-Lithuanian trade and economic relations.

The parties exchanged views on attracting investments, aligning with EU standards, deepening trade and economic relations with the EU, and other topics of mutual interest.
